Hi there,

I am sore, it hurts to raise my arms up, the back of my neck is sore,
even my feet are sore, don't remember how I landed, only my left side
of my jeans were dirty, not my arms. I'm sure it jarred me some. Maybe
even whiplash, who knows. I do know that it will take me some time to
gallop my horse again. I did get on her today, bareback, and ride her
around the pen, she was feeling good. I let her out to eat grass for
awhile.

Love ya, PEG
P.S. I don't have any insurance, and I live 1 1/2 hrs away from my doctor, or the nearest dr. Two hours from urgent care. So, I can't just go and get checked out, I'm fine, just sore. I haven't missed work, yet...

hi, my worst fear came true today while riding my horse.
I always had a fear that while galloping a horse, it would trip and I'd
go over the head and hit the ground. Well, we were galloping on a sand
road, and for some reason, she tripped, both front feet went down, she
rolled onto her face, flipped me off in process. Something hit me, not
sure what, she landed on her left side, which is the side I went down
on. She got up before I did, kinda shook. Shook me up. I'm kinda sore
now. It happened around 5:30pm tonight. I have someone coming tomorrow
to check and make sure Shadow's front legs are fine and the rest of her
body. She's probably gonna be sore like I am. Body parts got jarred, my
foot hurts, knee hurts, side and back and shoulders hurt, I guess I
just hurt all over. What a scary thing to happen. I walked us home,
didn't even wipe the dirt off my jeans. I did wipe the dirt off her
face. Just wanted to let you know, I am ok.

 Hi,

Woke up to a dusting of snow this morning. Burr!!  I
see one horse next door of 4 with a blanket on. Not sure why the owner
can't put them on all of them, as she has them. The one horse has had
hers on for days.

Shadow got one shoe taken off to relieve the pressure. Yesterday it
seems to be doing better when my farrier took her shoe off. We'll see
what happens the next few days.

I work this weekend. But I plan on going to my friends 50th wedding
anniversary surprise party. :) My parents just had their 51st
anniversary. :)

Have a great weekend.

PEG
