To
Whom It May Concern

Community Medical Services was founded in 1988. It is a free
and voluntary
Medical Response Unit, affiliated to the SAPS, whose
objective is to provide
a fast and efficient
Basic and Advanced Life Support Service and Rescue Unit, to the Community of
the Durban Metropolitan Area.

We are not an Ambulance service, and therefore do not transport patients to hospital.
We will, however, coordinate whatever incidents we are dispatched to, and
whilst giving the patient the best possible care, will arrange for the respective
Ambulance service, depending on whether the patient is on Medical Aid or not.

As we do not charge our patients, we therefore
respectfully appeal to the business community and individuals, in and around
the Durban Metropolitan area, to assist us in the operations of this service, in
the form of cash donations, sponsorships, equipment and services that are regularly
required to keep this unit operational.

Due to the unfortunate theft of our Primary Response
Vehicle, including all the Basic and Advanced Life Support equipment, we are in
desperate need of vehicles, equipment and expendable supplies/sundries.

However, at present, our most desperate requirement is
the replacement of the stolen Primary Response Vehicle. Any form of donation,
either vehicle, cash or equipment, would be most greatly appreciated.

Thank you in anticipation

Sincerely
