Many people have sent me letters asking how they can get referrals. So I will get right to the point and share some simple strategies that are overlooked by many.
1. Include your referral link in the signature of your emails. Also include a line or two that tells people what you are referring them to. For example: "Building the power of community to improve lives" or "Cash Give-away Starting July 30, 2008". Use your imagination, but something that will catch people's attention.
2. Post your referral banners on other sites. Post it at the top where visitors will see it right-away. Only post One banner. You can even include a reason why you think people should take a look. If you have many banners on a page it loses its effectiveness. Generally visitors will ignore it, bypass it or avoid pages that have many banners and will move on or go elsewhere.
3. Writing blogs is not only good for you but it also helps keep you sharp. Blogs usually increases in value with age. Blog daily, include you referral link and a reason why you believe the readers should take a look or join a site. Just be honest. Make sure the blogs are publicly accessible. Write a new blog at different blogs places every day.
4. Be persistent, make it a daily regimen. If you are consistent you will have no problem getting referrals or readers.
5. Once you get a referral, don't stop. Ask your referral for other referrals.
6. Use the contact list importer here at FFC. With only a few clicks it will send an invitations to all your friends on AOL, Google, Yahoo, MSN, etc...
These are the basics that anyone can put to use and reproduce for success. The question is, are you willing to stick through the process?
Sometimes being successful is not about being smart, but being disciplined and persistent.
