The show is set in the fictional town of Smallville before Clark Kent has not learned how to fly. Smallville is an awesome show that chronicles the life of Clark Kent (Tom Welling) as a teenager as he tries to come to terms with is alien powers. The stories are well characters well developed and is a joy to watch.

The show appeals to many different age groups and is probably one of the best shows hands down out of all the Superman productions. If you are Superman fan or are looking for a show to enjoy by yourself with friends or family, I recommend watching Smallville.
