This Week's Rant: Lazy-ass people
About two decades ago, people on this world would do a lot of manual labor. Just because of the fact that many gadgets that make things easy do not exist today. Now, because those gadgets do exist, the same people have become very lazy. In everything. I work for a superstore, and I have to get all the carts from outside and bring them back inside. It's closing time that really bugs me about it, because people will leave the carts anywhere. On the sidewalk, in the middle of the road, a mile away from the store where they parked their car. Not to mention the fact that some people come after we've closed and want in just so they can do their weekly midnight shopping, or get their fix of anti-depressants at the drugstore. We do not stay open 24 hours here, people. It's time to stop being so damn lazy and go that extra yard so that collecting carts is easier for me.
In The News: Palin Blurs Church-State Line
Palin seems to think that the average taxpayer doesn't matter in her quest to become elected. She's using some really nasty tricks to get through, even coming to a point where she crosses that line between church and state rules.
Weekly Random Thought
Taxes is the government's way of making us pay them in exchange for, well, just about every privilege we have.
